A small but great miracle.
In June, after a year of research into both funds and options, we managed to buy a new minivan to take to the farm, to allow the Stroi family and the kids in their care to move freely altogether, as well as continue to buy and distribute foodstuffs and clothing in Pădureni.
Orazio and Giacomo managed to get the minivan from Milan to Rebricea, a journey of around 2000km lasting 36 hours and including a night in Hungary. Obviously only after loading the minivan with many presents from Italy, including clothes, sweets, small household appliances, mattresses, camp beds, bicycles, educational materials, musical instruments, games and many other items to maintain and improve the living conditions of our young guests at the farm.
We want to thank our brothers and sisters, friends and colleagues for their generosity and prayers, which have made this miracle happen. A special thanks goes to the Christian association Salvati X Servire for donating so many sweets to the kids, and above all for the precious help in the search for the minivan and the finalisation of its purchase.
We’ve learned once again that although we’re still few and have very limited funds, the Lord is faithful and can do more than we can possibly imagine.
Know therefore that the Lord thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations.
